Panyee FC's story surprised Thailand after the Youth Soccer Championship. The team didn't make it to the finals, but they're still winners. They're from Panyee Island's floating village. There isn't any land there. So how did they practice soccer? The answer is in our interview with Nattapong, a Panyee FC player.

R (Reporter): First of all, can you tell us about your team? How did Panyee FC start?
N (Nattapong): My friends and I loved watching soccer on television, but we couldn't play it. Boat racing was the most popular sport in our village. But one day, a friend said, "Let's make a soccer team!" We got excited and decided to try it.기(기자): 우선, 당신의 팀에 대해 이야기해 주시겠어요? 어떻게 판이 FC가 시작되었죠?

R: But there's no land. How was it possible?
N: Many people said that it was impossible. But we had an idea! First, we tied some old fishing boats together. Then, we put old wood on top of them. This became our field.
R: That's interesting! How was the field?
N: It had some problems. The field moved a lot and had some nails. It was also wet and slippery, so we played without shoes.
기: 그렇지만 땅이 없잖아요. 그게 어떻게 가능했죠?
나: 많은 사람들이 그건 불가능하다고 말했어요. 그렇지만 우리는 생각이 있었어요! 우선, 우리는 낡은 고기잡이배 몇 척을 함께 묶었어요. 그러고 나서 그것들 맨 위에 오래된 나무를 두었고요. 그게 우리의 경기장이 되었어요.
기: 흥미롭군요! 경기장은 어땠나요?

R: Let's talk about the semifinals now. Your team was amazing!
N: Thanks. It rained a lot that day. Our shoes got wet and heavy. The other team's players ran faster than us. So we took off our shoes, just like on our own field. In the end, we lost, but we were happy. We did our best.
R: Do you have a final message for our readers?
N: Many people said that we couldn't do it. But we didn't give up. Follow your dreams! We believe that they can come true.
